State of the art technology combined with selected woods, the finest materials and the experience of 90 years in crafting clocks and clock movements provide this guarantee.

Explanation of symbols / clocks:

Joseph Kieninger (1872-1936), the founder of todays Kieninger Uhrenfabrik GmbH, was known for the high standards he lived by and expected from his personnel and products. In memory of this Kieninger today identifies its clock models with exceptional movement quality and case craftsmanship with the "JKA"- gear symbol. This symbol is the promise to our customers for high end, usually polished clock movements from our own shop, standard with second hand, automatic night time shut-off and some models with maintaining power; the very best in case craftsmanship, for wooden cases with fine lacquer or hand rubbed finish and usually beveled glasses; carefully selected, fine accessories like genuine enamel dials, gold plated decorations and compensation pendulums.

Under the "Premium"-Collection you will find the core of the Kieninger clock line. "Premium" stands for clock cases and accessories of the best craftsman tradition and the broad spectrum of mechanical Kieninger cable, chain and key wind driven movements in a variety of different chimes executions and with second hand and automatic night time shut-off.

With the "Classic"-Collection Kieninger introduces classic case and accessory design, solid case craftsmanship in proven quality, chain or key wind movements of the A- and S-series with Westminster chime and automatic night time shut-off in an attractive entry level price-range.

Floor, wall and mantel clocks of the "Quarzline"-Collection combine modern design with case craftsmanship in proven Kieninger quality and superior quartz or radio control technology with and without chime.

Within the "Boutique"-Collection Kieninger presents a selection of attractive table top clocks with quartz or quartz alarm movements in solid construction.

Kieninger – Masterpieces of the German clock craft. In 1912 the Kieninger Clock factory was founded in the Black Forest by Joseph Kieninger and therefore is the oldest existing manufacturer of mechanical clock movements for grandfather, wall and mantel clocks in the world.

Since 1917 the company has been located in Aldingen, a charming village. Today, the company occupies a 54000 square foot manufacturing facility, newly constructed in 1991 and employs 100 dedicated and highly skilled staff.

From its very beginning Kieninger has stayed with its traditional concept – the manufacture of technically advanced, high quality mechanical clocks and movements. Kieninger clocks are noted among the classics of the industry and are even shown in famous clock museums.
